Day Trip to SLC

Since Ryan's family is here for 3 weeks during the month of August. His mom has decided to go on day trips to places close by (Arches, Uintas, Seven Peaks, etc..). So here is one of those more recent day trips. We went to Salt Lake City in the afternoon to go to the Family History Library and to see the Mormon Tabernacle choir practice.
Ryan's sad because he couldn't go and talk IT to the Family History Technician. I thought he was going to smile...
The only way we could convince Ryan to come was if we said we'd push him around...
This would've been my new temple dress, but Ryan thought it would be too short. All wells.
Can you life the 70lb brass plates? I could.. but it hurt my back. The ballroom across from where we ate dinner at the Navoo Cafeteria. (10% off coupons :)
MoTab Practice. Was pretty entertaining, Ryan didn't realize at first that the director was going falsetto, he thought it was a soprano.

Salt Lake City Temple.

We also went to the new Church History Library and they have carpets that were made to look like the inside of the old books. (The 'peacock' design) And the only books that I've read like that were for a Mr. Beaumont research paper so it wasn't quite as enjoyable for me as it might be for other people.

Next day trip is tomorrow to watch Go-Karts racing.. can you guess who picked?
