Pictures of the First Major Snow Storm in January

Three feet of snow.. easy.  And another 4 + inches of snow every weekend after that still.  Everytime I see the ground I think, "Yes it's finally melting!", and then we find out we have another storm coming.

Ryan tried to get a mound big enough to build and igloo to sleep in, but it got dark too soon.

There was so much snow, the sent the city snow blower to clear our sidewalks because there wasn't any way we could clear all the road ice off of them ourselves.  (ps.  A few weeks later after another storm, they came with construction trucks to completely clear the sidewalks and take it away by dump truck because they couldn't blow it above the mounds of snow from the previous storm.)

We didn't realize we'd have them all winter.. and still have them now.  They make big noises when they fall off too if it gets warm enough.
