While Ryan's been home, we also have been running some errands and enjoying time together. We bought Matthew a new carseat because he's growing out of his old one earlier this week. We've also been looking for a food grinder for when Matthew gets older, but we haven't found one I like yet, except for maybe this one from kidalog (http://www.kidalog.com/kidalog-baby-food-mill/). The only downside is paying for shipping from Canada... maybe I'll wait and see if Amazon.com gets it back in stock. So here is Matthew in his new carseat, which he seems to really enjoy. (This is one of those all-in-one carseats, so he won't be growing out of it for a while!)
He seems to really like it, and because it doesn't go in the store we bought a "Floppy" shopping cart cover for when we go into stores. Otherwise he likes to try and eat the metal, gross!
Okay, so he's not in a shopping cart, but he is in a high chair at Texas Roadhouse where we went to eat for our anniversary. We celebrated a little late, but Ryan and I both felt like steaks, and we didn't want to go before Ryan got a job.
By the way, we are staying in Utah!!! We decided that the job up in Washington was just too strange and if-y. However, we are going to save up for a bigger downpayment on a slightly more expensive house, so we won't be looking to buy a house until next fall. Right now we'll be living in the apartment that we have now, then trying to move to Draper, Cottonwood Heights, or up the canyon towards Park City area.
