So last Monday, Ryan and I signed a new contract for a different apartment. We're so excited to move, and what has been really nice is that our new landlord gave us the keys and allows us to move all our stuff in for a week before he charges us rent. So this past week we've been moving all our stuff in and we're almost done.
We have pretty much finished the office and the living room, all that is left is our bedroom (because once we sleep there we pay rent). Our new kitchen is much nicer, with tons of cabinets that we don't know what to do with, and we can both stand in it! We also have a washer and dryer in the bathroom! We got the washer and dryer off of ksl for 100$ for both, and they both work great! The people who sold it to us were moving, and the only thing that is wrong with the dryer is that it doesn't auto countdown to end the dry cycle so you just time it yourself. I'm definitely willing to put up with that in order to do laundry.
Right now we are still arranging furniture and finishing up/finding out what we stuffed into all the boxes, and then I'm going to take pictures to post. But yeah, we really love the new apartment, 2 bedroom for 550 a month and we only have to pay electric, ahh amazing. It's pretty much the same rent we pay at the old apartment, or only 10 dollars more, but so worth it for an extra room, a cookable kitchen, washer and dryer, and nicer neighborhood.
