Bike Trip

Well this past Friday was the first day that looked like it wasn't going to rain, so Ryan and I decided to go on a bike ride. We went up through Springville canyon, and planned to hopefully make it to Strawberry Reservoir and back before our gas ran out. Here are some pictures I took when we stopped to rest (ie. look at the map and make sure we weren't driving in circles).

This was a really fun ATV trail that we took away from Strawberry. It had jumps in the trail every couple of hundred feet which made it really fun, except that since snow was still melting up there the jumps all had mud puddles behind them.

And then we hit this...


This huge hill which was so steep that the dirt bike wouldn't carry both Ryan and I up it. Instead he got to "ride" up it and then I got to climb it. If you look in the center of the picture, that's the hill that we went down, and then the hill I'm standing on is the one I climbed.



Needless to say, we made it back after stopping in Heber for gas. I got a sore bum after riding so long because the seat is very hard after about 1hr of riding and we went for about 4-5hrs. But it was very pretty and perfect weather to go and we definitely enjoyed going!
