Playing Outside

Matthew loves to go play outside.  If it was up to him he'd be outside in his pj's at 7am while it's still dark outside.  First thing in the morning he runs to the door, points, and babbles.  Unfortunately for him I'm not dressed and ready to freeze by going outside in the dark at 7am.  However, we normally go outside after his nap, and he sure looks forward to that everyday! 

Recently, (aka. Constantly since we bought our house), we've been working on our landscaping.  The past couple of weeks we've cut down 2.5 trees (without hitting any power/cable/phone lines, whoot!), planted raspberries, blackberries, built a firepit, got our garden 1/2 done, and fixed the rest of our sprinklers.  So needless to say, we've all been spending lots of time outside, and getting very dirty~!

Yesterday when Matthew and I went out all he wanted to do was play with the sprinkler because I turned it on to water the raspberries..  Well, he wanted it on to play with (it had to be on, of course) and ended up getting soaked, in our 60F weather.  At least he had lots of fun, but it didn't last more than 20 minutes because he was so wet and cold, so then we came inside for a bath.  He loved making mud puddles and water streams to play in.
