Go Karts

So this is actually from last summer when Ryan's family was still in town. We decided to go and see some Go-Kart races in Tooele, Ut. Well all that week it had been hot and sunny, so on Saturday I wore shorts for the first time to go to the races. I can't normally wear shorts because I have to work in the machine shop and to do that you must wear pants and closed-toed shoes. Well we got there and it was only 60-65 degrees and cloudy. I was freezing! I didn't even bring a jacket because normally it's just extra weight. Well here are some pictures anyway. At least I didn't huddle in the car all day, although it was very tempting.
Everytime the sun would start to poke out it felt so much better and you could really feel a difference in temperature. (Like my permament goose-bumps that day started going away). But it was still a fun day trip, even if it was freezing. Ryan now wants to get a go-kart, but knows he probably won't because they are so expensive. It's alike a new car price, some of them are worth 10,000

In other news, Ryan should be able to get his brace off tomorrow. We are both looking forward to this a lot, Ryan so he can walk, and me so he can drive. No power steering really makes driving more of a chore than fun, as well as having to chaperone Ryan everywhere makes logistics a nightmare. Ryan also took and passed his physical science test today/tonight so that he is exempted from that class! Wahoo! One more step towards graduating. I'm so proud of him too because he read the entire textbook for the class in 3 weeks.
Anyways, hope everything is going well. So far our school has been going well, even if it's been busy. Love everyone lots.
